# Hello, world

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. This site is a fully static build
made with [Astro](https://astro.build), styled with Tailwind CSS, and written in
MDX files that live in the `content` folder of the repository.

## Why another blog?

Writing things down is how I think. Some notes are long-form articles, some are
just a bookmark with a sentence of context, and some are a single quote worth
remembering. Every post has a `category` so those different shapes can live side
by side without getting in each other's way.

## How it is built

- Content is authored in MDX and validated by a schema at build time.
- Posts stay invisible until their frontmatter says `published: true`.
- The whole site is prerendered, so there is no server to babysit.
